SS.MO CUORE
DI GESU'

This Mistero represents the Love of Jesus for mankind. The message is conveyed by two images: Jesus coming into the world accompanied by Joseph and Mary and a heart. The picture is completed by four angels in the act of adorning the heart with flowers (the heart bears the consonants of the Hebraic name of Jesus, Iehosua). The flowered stick held by S. Joseph is reminiscent of the words in the apocryphal Gospels (Joseph was chosen as Mary’s bridegroom because his stick flowered miraculously).

Characters: six; Bearers: twenty; Height: 5,60 meters; Weight: 590 kg.
