::::::: HISTORICAL NOTES :::::::

If these machines that we are so rightly proud of, survive in time, we have to be grateful to the promptness and passion of Cosmo Teberino, Warrant Officer of the Municipality Police, today retired. He is, undoubtedly, considered the “living memory” of the Mysteries due to his over fifty year commitment with the Procession of the Corpus Christi. Between 1933 and 1949 he participated, as a figurant, in the ten editions of the celebration that took place over the second world war (from 1940 to 1946 no Processions were held), playing, among others, the part of the apprentice shoemaker on the Mystery of St. Crispin,

Jesus on the Mystery of the Assumption, Isaac on the Mystery of Abraham, the infected on the Mystery of St. Roch

and St. Isidore on the homonymous Mystery.

Since 1968 he is responsible for the organisation of the Procession of the Mysteries, a function that he initially carried out as an assignment from the Municipality of Campobasso and that later, from 1997, as Honorary President of the Mysteries and Traditions Association. He is still considered, today, an essential point of reference for the many students that have obtained all kinds of information from him.
